Water situation in Cape Town
Cape Town is in a water-scarce region and is currently in the midst of a serious drought. We need your help to conserve the precious resource. Please ‘save like a local’, and keep your water usage to under 50 litres per person per day. Please visit www.capetown.gov.za for more details. Our hotel conference hosts assure us that there will be adequate water for delegates throughout the conference, and Cape Town has just also received some most welcome rains.
Conference registration package
The conference registration package covers all teas/coffees and snacks served during the conference’s morning and afternoon breaks (from 7-9 May 2018); all lunches except on the day of the delegates’ arrival on 6 May 2018 when an evening gala reception will be provided to all delegates from 6.30pm; and three dinners (on 6 May, 7 May, and 9 May 2018). In the evening of 8 May 2018, delegates will be free from late afternoon to sample some of Cape Town’s best restaurants.
Delegates are urged to please forward their travel itinerary to firstname.lastname@example.org should they wish to make use of the transport available to transport delegates from the Cape Town International Airport to the Lagoon Beach Hotel, the venue of the Conference, on Sunday, 6 May 2018, and returning to the Airport on Thursday, 10 May 2018.
